Because of people like you and hundreds of others, this Christian music festival is a wonderful vision that has become a blessing and life-changing experience for thousands of people. The event’s success is the result of each volunteer taking responsibility for a share of the work that needs to be done. Every volunteer involved in this exciting project donates their time, and some even their finances and resources, “as unto the Lord.” The RTD Leadership Team encourages all volunteers to serve with a spirit of love, attempting to exhibit the attributes of Romans 12:9-13.
To be an RTD Event Staff Volunteer:
Download and read the RTD Volunteer Rule and fill out the Online Event Staff Volunteer Application. Also, if you are under 18 years of age, you will need to fill out the Release of Liability Form.All forms must be filled out completely and signed where indicated and either faxed to 432-687-1024 or mailed to Rock The Desert Ministries 303 West Wall, Suite 300 Midland, Texas 79701. You will be notified regarding the acceptance of your application, your work assignment(s) and schedule, and if there are any orientation meetings you will need to attend. Please be patient when waiting to be notified as applications take time to process. All volunteers are subject to a background check by Rock The Desert Ministries, Inc.
You should enter into this commitment with a spirit of giving… serve so that others may receive.
You should agree to do your very best and commit yourself to giving your utmost to the glory of God, be conscientious and focused on your task and represent the festival in a professional, courteous, and loving manner.
You should treat all festival attendees with kindness while displaying a Christian attitude.
You will not use illegal drugs or consume alcoholic beverages at any time at RTD, anywhere on the property or in the camping areas. You will not carry weapons of any kind, bring pets onto the property and you must observe the NO SMOKING POLICY of the property.
You will be responsible to your immediate Team Leader in your area of service, and the Festival Directors.
General Information
T-shirts may be purchased in advance at the Rock The Desert office, located at 303 West Wall, Suite 300 or in the RTD Merchandise tent at the event. ID will be required when checking in at the event.
